Optical Distribution Network Product Delivery to Telekom Malaysia (TM)

OPNET Technologies, Co., Ltd., as the excellent telecommunication network access and optical transport equipment supplier, announced another success in Telekom Malaysia (TM), Malaysia's Convergence Champion and leading telecommunications company Optical Distribution Network (ODN) tender for the FTTx deployments. After a year’s aggressive efforts to meets TM's rigorous demands, OPNET finally surpassed other competitors got TM ODN tender that has expanded its overseas market. The equipment purchased by TM includes Fiber Distribution Cabinet (FDC), Fiber Distribution Point/Box (FDP/FDB) and Fiber Optic Splice Closure (FOSC). The initial shipment of FDC, FDP/FDB, FOSC products had been shipped smoothly in early December and it has stable supply available in the next three years.

Being successful in TM's ODN tenders is not only a boost to OPNET's sales performance but also a great deal of extending volume growth in FTTx market. OPNET will take full advantage of its experience obtained from TM ODN tender to achieve great results.

2016 CHT-N/S SVG Was Completed

OPNET Technologies, Co., Ltd. has won ChungHwa Telecom (CHT) SIP-based VoIP Gateway (SVG) orders for three consecutive years. In 2016, OPNET had earned recognition for its exceptional reliability and performance, won the orders from Taiwan Northern Telecom Branch and Southern Telecom Branch helping deliver CHT next generation fixed line services by installing SIP-based VoIP Gateway (SVG) equipment to serve more than seventy thousand lines which throughout Keelung, New Taipei City, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung.

OPNET plays a significant role in assisting CHT to delivery, installation and configuration in Taiwan. This demonstrates OPNET's capabilities of VOIP integration. With recent sales achievement, OPNET has built a strong partnership with CHT based on exceptional reliability and performance. OPNET will keep cooperation with ChungHwa Telecom to provide the highest quality product and superb technical support.

In years 2014 and 2015, OPNET Technologies, Co., Ltd. was tasked with helping deliver CHT (CHunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest ILEC) next generation fixed line services by installing SIP-based VoIP Gateway (SVG) equipment throughout Taiwan

OPNET’s high integration UVG-1000 SVG products will provides integrated Telephony/FAX/VBD access and form part of CHT (CHunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest ILEC) next generation network infrastructure. The operator will leverage OPNET's Network Product's flexibility and strong capabilities together with OPNET's expertise and support to deliver new and innovative services to the market, capitalizing on new growth opportunities following changes in the NGN environment. This project entails delivery, installation and configuration of OPNET SVG equipment in CHT (CHunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest ILEC) Exchanges throughout Taiwan island for CHT (CHunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest ILEC) SIP-based VoIP fixed line services to resident and enterprise subscribers. OPNET also surveyed, installed and commissioned to bring this service on-line within a short implementation period.
