Those high density MSA shelves are equipped with non-blocking data connection backplane, providing 2 Giga-bits data rate for each service slot, failover-enabled for Central Process Unit (CPUM2) and VoIP Media Gateway Unit (MGUM), dual power inputs and various high port density multi-purpose line cards.

With comprehensive IP-centric firmware features, MSAN system are a high-density, high-capacity system that facilitates Telecom Operators to deliver high-quality residential or business user services, satisfying its current and future infrastructural requirements of reliability, flexibility and scalability.

Introduction of new product ETH-XCVR Unit

The Ethernet Transceiver Unit (ETH-XCVR) interfaces to a 10/100 Base-T electrical Ethernet port, transmitting and receiving voice and data originating from channel units in the subscriber slots of the ULC-1000AN system, as well as other types of transceiver unit. The throughput of ETH-XCVR is configurable from 3 Mbps to 43 Mbps, depends on TDM timeslot bandwidth required. The TDM bandwidth could be 30, 60, 90 to 660 DS0 timeslots; it’s adjustable and configured in step of 30 timeslots.

OPNET got order again from Chunghwa Telecom Company (CHT) about PS-67 G.SHDSL Product for Leased Line Service

The PS-67 G.SHDSL (Single-pair High-bit-rate digital subscriber Line System) provides shelf type (CO site) and standalone model (RT site). Both two types can be applied in different combinations for SHDSL leased line service in the last mile with NMS networks management. PS-67 can be used in two-wire SHDSL or four-wire application, four-wire transmission bandwidth is two-wire twice at the same distance.

PS-67 supports E1 / T1, V.35 or Ethernet services with complete graphical interface and SNMP network maintenance. PS-67 complies with ITU and ETSI standards, a prototype testing approved by Chunghwa Telecom Laboratories as well as ANIMS administration functional verification qualified.
