FOM: An economic but efficient optical transmission product
FOM (Fiber Optical Multiplexer) converts E1/T1 signals into optical signals, and then transmits the converted signal over a fiber optic cable for extended distance, forming a secure link for data communication devices. OPNET offers customers most stable and cost-effective FOM products to make transport service deployment easily and reliably.
There are five FOM models from which customers can choose according to their network environment and service demands. The OPNET FOM series provide up to 16 E1/T1 multiplexing capability. In addition, the 10/100 Ethernet interface and V.35 interface are implemented in these units to support versatile services.
